More than making it bigger: What the pediatric neuropsychologist needs to know about visual impairments (AAPdN’s 9th Annual Conference)

April 27, 2023; 10am – 12pm

Assessing a child with visual impairments involves much more than making sure they have visual access. In this presentation, Dr. Engle discusses essential factors the evaluator must consider, including: in what ways a visual impairment impacts development, how adaptations affect construct validity, and what additional domains should be evaluated.

Assessment of children with visual impairments (PARtalks Webinar)

This webinar discusses the unique challenges of evaluating an individual with a visual impairment. It will review issues related to test adaptation, test interpretation, and construct validity.
